New Minor Volunteers (12-17 years old)

Volunteer Application Instructions

VOLUNTEER APPLICATION STEPS

FIRST: Gather all of the information you will need for the application.

• Name of your Good News Club, 5-Day Club location or County Fair or Festival.

• References information:  Name, address, phone number and email.  One reference needs to be your pastor, then your youth leader, and two personal references (not relatives, but one may be an employer).

SECOND:  Complete each of the following prior to applying online.  

   1.  Read the USA Child Protection Policy.

  2.  Call 1-866-878-4182 and listen to the Protecting Today's Child recording, or view the video below.

  3.   Read the CEF Statement of Faith, then sign and date the form.

  4.   Read and complete the CEF Worker's Compliance Agreement form.

A few important notes before you begin the online application: 

  a. The system will time-out after approximately 10 minutes of no activity.

  b. The application /screening process must be completed in 30 minutes or less. 

  c.  If you experience problems with the driver's license fields, they may be skipped.

AFTER ONLINE APPLICATION IS COMPLETED:

  ~ Call your Team Leader to arrange a time to complete an interview and ID confirmation form and a photo release form..

  ~ Schedule Good News Club Teacher Training with your local CEF office.

  ~ Thank you for your desire to volunteer with CEF to reach children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
